TaQuita is a graduate of the University of Houston in Political Science, Pre-Law and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She began her legal career with the Court of Appeals - First District as a Law Clerk Intern prior to becoming an Attorney. Shortly upon graduation from law school, she became a Legal Associate at ABU Sports and Entertainment Group where she presently continues here affiliation on a part-time basis. She has also served with the Alliance for Multicultural as a volunteer Immigration Attorney. Currently, she serves as a Community Service Volunteer Attorney and sits on the advisory board for the Fort Bend Lawyers Care as well as the American Bar Association Advisory Panel. Currently, she also serves as a Faculty Instructor in Legal Studies for Wharton County Junior College. As an Instructor, she has had excellent opportunities to teach a variety of courses, including Real Property, Contracts Law, Wills and Probate, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Civil Litigation, including online legal courses and other such legal subjects.
